Our Revolution Medford logo

Our Revolution Medford

Our Revolution Medford is made up of Medford residents who envision a local inclusive government that is responsible to the needs of everyone who calls Medford home. We work together to develop detailed, aggressive local policy plans centered on working people, and will band together to support state-level legislation that enables us to make logical municipal decisions for a changing Medford.

We are working to build a Medford that is collectively governed by and meets the needs of all residents, not just a privileged few or corporate interests. To do this, we must come together to expand affordable housing, address climate change, fully fund our public schools, support alternatives to policing, expand access to public transportation, fight for a fair tax structure, and improve residents’ access to our local government through increased and more effective communication. We can’t wait to meet you and work together to build a better Medford!

350 Mass Mystic Valley

350 Mass is a statewide, grassroots, member-led, campaign-focused network committed to a just transition for a climate-safe world.

350 Mass Mystic Valley node members come from Melrose, Medford, Stoneham, and Malden. We are always looking for new members to join us, and would love to expand into Everett and Revere. Our members are diverse in their professions and interests, but we share a passion for the environment and a desire to make a difference! Our efforts have included: pushing for climate-friendly resolutions and ordinances in our communities (like Community Energy Aggregation and a new construction solar ordinance); participating in issue-specific working groups of the state-wide organization (municipal, transportation, legislative, etc); tagging gas leaks and raising awareness about gas leak legislation; developing relationships with our legislators to make sure our voices are heard on Beacon Hill in support of the 350 Mass legislative agenda; and writing letters to the editor for local newspapers. Please get in touch to get involved!
